Orchid Joy

Oil on Canvas 24X48,

The background for this painting is metallic oils knifed over one another.
Check out the magnified view; it just shimmers.
These orchids bloomed only once for me and I can't get them to bloom again.
So happy I painted them.

Thanks for viewing my paintings

Velvet Rose

Oil/Gold Foil on Canvas, 40 x 40
This is a big velvet rose that wasn't working until I gold leafed the background.
I also put gold leaf on the frame.  It is stunning.
(Even if I do say so myself)

Thank you for viewing my big Rose!

This is a rose I painted a while ago.  It is still one of my favorite roses.
I shall share more roses with you in the future as they are one of my favorite subjects.

white Iris

(Oil on convex canvas, 16 x 12)

I belong to the  TUCSON IRIS SOCIETY.
I was attracted to this lovely one in a recent show.
Irises grow surprisingly well in our desert climate.

Thank you for viewing my paintings.

Early Spring

(12 inch Round Convexo Canvas)
No need to frame; painted sides.

The irises are from my yard earlier this year.
I was having trouble posting this and finally gave up trying to crop it & posted it today.
I really love the irises in my yard.  Sadly the blooms are now gone, but I have this painting to remind me of them.  I hope you like them too.

Thank you for viewing my paintings.

Sunny

(oil on linen board, 6x6)

These are the longest lasting flowers from the bouquet I painted last time.
Sun flowers always bring a smile to my face.

Thank you for viewing my paintings.

For Me?

(oil on linen board, 6x6)
(Comment to me to purchase): $60

I love having fresh flowers in the studio.
I bought these for myself: a combination of sunflowers and mums.
I smile every time I look at them.

Thank you for viewing my paintings.
Now go buy yourself a bouquet of your favorite flowers.
