Horses like to "snuffle" you when you talk to them.
It is as if they are trying to smell your essence.

Clayne Crawford

(oil on canvas, 24x12)

Ok, I've got a crush on Clayne Crawford.
If you don't know who he is: he a TV actor, on "Leathal Weapon".
I loved this pose I found on Instagram.  Very "Macho"; great clothes drape; really fun to paint.
I don't know who the photographer was, but this captures the essence of this character.

Thanks for understanding my crush & seeing my paintings.

Dancing on Air

(Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas, 20 x 16)

This is another in my series of Humming Bird Paintings.
You see that I have taken "artistic license" with the colors of these birds.
I am using a discontinued set of iridescent oil colors from Daniel Smith.
I love using these incredible colors & I'm sad that they've been discontinued.
They shimmer in the light...perfect for humming birds!

Thank you for flying along with me.

Small But Mighty

(oil on gallery wrap canvas, 8x10)
Humming birds live year round in Tucson.
Their numbers, however, increase in spring and summer.
I have a feeder on my patio and I love watching these little birds.
They are very territorial and combat each other for the right to use the feeder.

Thanks for viewing my paintings.

In Flight Dance

(oil on gallery wrap canvas, 20x16)

Continuing my theme of Humming Birds;
these little guys are in full battle mode.
Dancing around the feeder.

Thank you for viewing my paintings

Please click here to bid or purchase: $399.

Continuing the long horned cow theme: this one is quite the flirt.
Long Horn cattle, both steers & cows, sport these extraordinary wide horns.
Magnify to see the artistic license I took with the horns.
So much fun!

Thanks for viewing my paintings, ya'll

Fancy Horned

(oil on gessoed panel, 14x11) NFS

This is a portrait of my sister and me.
She was 4 years old and I was one month old.
It is a sweet reminded of my older sister.
(painted from a black & white photo)
